How it works

Live before your next missed call.

Six guided steps. Most businesses finish setup in 15–20 minutes, and the receptionist is built and published automatically straight afterwards.

The full setup

  1. Tell us about your business

Hours, the services you offer, your service areas, your team and their roles, and the questions callers ask most. This is what your receptionist answers from.

    • Business hours and after-hours behaviour
    • Services and service areas
    • Team members and roles
    • The questions callers ask most
  2. Choose the voice and greeting

Pick a voice from the library and a tone — professional, warm, energetic, calm or luxury — then write the greeting callers hear when the line picks up.

    • Voice library
    • Tone: professional, warm, energetic, calm or luxury
    • Your own greeting line
  3. Set routing and escalation

Give it the numbers to transfer to, say which calls should go straight to a person, and choose what happens after hours — take a message and alert the on-call contact, take a message for the morning, or offer voicemail.

    • Transfer numbers
    • Which calls always reach a human
    • After hours: alert on-call, take a message, or voicemail
  4. Add your knowledge base

Upload or paste the material your receptionist should answer from. It draws on this before it takes a message, so callers get an answer instead of a callback.

    • Documents and pasted material
    • Answers drawn from your own content
  5. Connect or forward your number

Keep the number you have and forward it, or let us provision a new one. You rank up to three preferred area codes; if none have numbers free, we assign the next one that does.

    • Forward your existing line — callers dial nothing new
    • Or provision a new number
    • Starter, Essential and Professional include one number; Premier includes two
  6. Test it, then go live

Your receptionist is built and published automatically once payment completes. Call it yourself, listen to how it answers, and adjust anything from your dashboard.

    • Built and published automatically
    • Call it and hear it
    • Change anything later
